Multiskilled Engineer

Location: Navenby Mill

Work hours: Average of 42 hours (12 hour shifts 6am-6pm)

To work as part of the Mill Engineering team to meet the full maintenance & operational requirements of Navenby Feed Mill.

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of our feed mill machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to minimize disruption and optimize performance.

Essential Criteria

  • BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Electrically qualified to 18th edition
  • Mechanical Qualification
  • Organised.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to demands.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
