Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills?

Are you looking for a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading Beverage manufacturing business to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role providing electrical and mechanical support across the site, with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement.

The Role

You'll work closely with the Maintenance and Production teams to keep the site running efficiently, responding to breakdowns, completing PPMs and identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on electrical and mechanical support across the site.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using SAP.
  • Respond to breakdowns and complete permanent repairs.
  • Identify potential equipment failures through proactive maintenance and plant walkarounds.
  • Support Production to minimise downtime and improve OEE.
  • Deliver maintenance improvements and small-scale engineering projects.
  • Work safely in line with EHSQ policies and procedures.
  • Support the wider Maintenance team when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Apprentice-trained engineer with a relevant engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
  • 3+ years' experience within manufacturing or production.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Understanding of PLCs and instrumentation.
  • Food/beverage manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • SAP/CMMS experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
