Role Description
As a NIGHT Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests! Good first impressions, providing exceptional guest service and a positive attitude is key for success in this role!
At the Ibis Budget Leicester no one day is the same. Your duties will be spread across multiple areas within the hotel: effectively checking-in guests, responding to emails, assisting the food & beverage department, answering phone calls and much more. Our ideal candidate will be attentive, focused and forward-thinking!
Previous hotel or customer service experience would be helpful, although full training can be provided to the right candidate.
Ultimately, you will be joining a passionate team with opportunities for development and performance bonuses provided for the right candidate. Becoming a Front Office Receptionist, means adopting the core values of the Ibis Budget brand, supporting our initiatives to ensure guest satisfaction and deliver a superior service within our hotel.

- Check-in/greet guests, visitors and key stakeholders to our hotel
- Respond to enquiries via telephone or email
- Respond to all extranet booking enquiries
- Collect payment via PDQ card terminals or cash
- Monitor guest reviews and feedforward crucial guest comments to the team
- Basic clerical and administrative tasks
- Assist the food & beverage department, setting-up/ preparing breakfast ahead of the start time
- Maintain the appearance/cleanliness of the front office
- Foresee and undertake shift opening/closing procedures
- Maintain and Adhere to H&S protocols
- Carry out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel
- Respond to guest concerns
- Complete basic cleaning and housekeeping duties when required
- Maintain accurate records and complete night shift reports
- Run Hotel night audit
