Based on the edge of Trafford Park in Manchester, the company is ideally located to deliver mobile on-site fitting services across the Northwest.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Salford for a Multi Skilled professional specializing in Lock Fitting, Ply Lining, and Auto Electrics. Day-to-day responsibilities include fitting and installing security locks, ply lining, and vehicle accessories in commercial vans to a high standard. The role involves reading and interpreting job sheets, safely using hand and power tools, and ensuring all installations comply with company and safety standards. The individual will carry out basic auto electrical work, complete quality checks, maintain a clean work environment, and interact professionally with customers and colleagues to support efficient workshop operations.

- No experience needed, however:
- Practical vehicle installation skills, including experience with lock fitting, ply lining, and fitting van accessories preferable.
- Basic to intermediate auto electrical skills, including wiring, fault finding, and safe use of electrical testing equipment will be helpful.
- Strong use of hand and power tools, with an understanding of workshop safety practices and manual handling would be useful.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, job sheets, and product specifications accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality, tidy, and secure installations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to customer service.
- Previous experience in automotive fitting, bodywork, or related trades is highly beneficial.
- Full UK driving license preferred to support mobile and on-site fitting work.
