Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Midhurst, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Shift: Early Shift
Industry: FMCG

CV Technical are working with an established FMCG manufacturer who are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance and reliability of production machinery.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Minimise machinery downtime and ensure production targets are met.
  • Work closely with the production team to resolve engineering issues.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG, food manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
  • Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
