Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Midhurst, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Shift: Early Shift

CV Technical are working with an established FMCG manufacturer who are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance and reliability of production machinery.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Minimise machinery downtime and ensure production targets are met.
- Work closely with the production team to resolve engineering issues.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG, food manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
