Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Sudbury | £56,000 | 12hr Panama Shifts
£56,000 per annum 12-hour Panama shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends
The role
Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production, packaging and plant equipment, using both electrical and mechanical skills
Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on panels, motor drives, controllers, pumps and PLC-controlled automation
Root cause analysis and proactive fault prevention to reduce downtime
Small electrical and mechanical installation and modification projects
Working with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability
Coaching production staff on equipment best practice

What You'll Need
- At least 2 years' experience as a maintenance electrician or similar, with an electrical bias
- C&G Level 3 Electrical (2330, 2365 or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens S7 PLCs, including reading code for fault finding
- Pneumatic control experience, good mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic skills
- Experience in FMCG, food, drink or another high-speed production environment
- Able to work from electrical and mechanical drawings

- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
- 18th Edition
- HNC/HND
- SCADA experience
- Steam, water treatment or wastewater plant experience
