We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at our nutritional powder manufacturing facility in Leek. This is a hands-on role at the heart of a fast-paced, dry-blending, nut-free and waterless production environment, where your mechanical and electrical expertise will directly keep production running, product safe, and standards high.

You'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, fault-find across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems, and play a key role in continuous improvement, project delivery and sustainability initiatives across the site.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carry out planned preventative and predictive maintenance to keep equipment reliable and downtime low

  • Carry out electrical fault-finding, installation and modification work in line with regulations and site standards
  • Support PLC fault-finding and diagnostics on automated production systems and conveyors
  • Contribute to Lean, TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement activity, including root cause analysis

  • Maintain accurate records within the CMMS and support effective spares and stock control
  • Work to strict food safety, allergen management, GMP and BRCGS standards within a nut-free, waterless environment
  • Support the site's environmental and sustainability goals through responsible, efficient engineering practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
