About the Role

As part of the Maintenance team, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician. This role will assist in fault diagnosis and repair activities on key technical process equipment and provide support to production teams on technical process equipment as required. They will work closely with all staff in each area to ensure the smooth running of core business plant, optimising the productivity of machinery, equipment, proactively working to eliminate plant downtime and make improvements to the processes and ensuring the site and facility infrastructure is tested and maintained in accordance with current legislation.

Key Skills for this Role

  • Qualified time served dual trained electrical / mechanical engineer with relevant experience in an industrial environment
  • Analytical capacity to identify and address technical issues/opportunities which can impact upon production and quality
  • C&G/NVQ Qualification or equivalent
  • Edition Qualification required
  • Experience of motor controls, temperature and pressure sensing and control systems
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting, installation, fault finding, and repairs
  • Able to read electrical drawings for fault diagnosis and isolation of circuits
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of working with and replacing/repairing Bearings, Belt drives, Couplings, Chain Conveyors, Elevators, pumps, motors, gearboxes and pneumatic / hydraulic systems
