Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Salary: £48,418 to £55,838 + Pension + Benefits
Location: Scunthorpe
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 2 Days 2 Nights 6-6

The Company
My client is a world leader in the FMCG retailer branded market and is extremely well established, with sites worldwide and over 60 years manufacturing experience. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering knowledge already within their current team. The company have built a reputation on the continual delivery to their blue chip clients; this is a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely secure group, within a well respected worldwide organisation.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules. There will be lots of fast-moving machinery such as flow wrappers, automated box packaging robots, blue print box erectors, high-speed baggers, labelling machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems.

The ideal candidate will also have experience of PLC systems as they have a variety of PLC controlled equipment on site and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer-term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group. You will report to the Engineering Manager and this will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to a more senior role within this secure organisation.
