About Your New Job
As a Maintenance Technician at a purpose built student accommodation block of 82 bedrooms in Oxford, you will ensure the safety, upkeep, and presentation of the student accommodation properties.
- You'll respond promptly to maintenance requests, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the Property Team and external contractors to keep all facilities in top condition.
- Support room preparation, building presentation, and contractor management to maintain high standards all year round.
- Play a key role in health, safety, and compliance, supporting audits, testing and statutory programmes.

What Skills You Need
- Experience in general building maintenance or a relevant trade role.
- Practical skills across plumbing, joinery, decorating, and basic electrical repairs.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Good IT skills to accurately record maintenance activities.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and practices.
- Full UK driving license (desirable)

Desirable:
- Experience in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), residential, hotel or facilities management.
- Relevant trade qualifications (Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or Multi-Skilled Maintenance).
- Knowledge of fire safety, water hygiene, PAT testing, or statutory compliance.
