Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative - Maintenance and Construction
Location:
Oxford, Reading, Slough, Aylesbury & Surrounding areas
Company Overview:
Genco Construction Services Limited is a leading provider of reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance services across the retail, commercial, and facilities management sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion within the Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire regions, we are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Engineer to join our expanding maintenance team. Position Overview:
The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of maintenance and repair works across a portfolio of retail and commercial properties.
The role is predominantly mobile and will involve attending both reactive and planned maintenance works throughout:
- Oxford
- Reading
- Slough
- Aylesbury
- Surrounding areas
Whilst the role is multi-trade, strong plumbing experience is essential as a significant proportion of works involve plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive maintenance repairs.
- Planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Plumbing repairs and fault finding.
- Toilet and washroom maintenance.
- Minor pipework repairs and installations.
- Tap, valve, and sanitaryware replacement.
- Unblocking and drainage works.
- General carpentry repairs.
- Basic decorating and making good works.
- Minor flooring repairs.
- Door, ironmongery, and lock repairs.
- Ceiling and partition repairs.
- Completion of electronic job sheets and customer reports.
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Participation in the on-call rota where required.

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Engineer.
- Strong plumbing background with fault-finding capability.
- Experience within commercial or retail maintenance environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Flexible approach to travel across the region.
Desirable:
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Flooring repair experience.
- Tiling experience.
- Trade qualification in plumbing or maintenance discipline.
- Experience working within FM, retail, or hospitality sectors.

Salary:
£32,000 - £40,000 per annum Dependent upon experience, qualifications, and capability Overtime and additional earnings available.
