Salary - £13.50ph - overtime is available

Location - Hollingdean IWF, Hollingdean Lane, Brighton, BN1 7BB

Hours - 40 per week - Sunday to Thursday 9am - 5pm

Must be flexible to cover other shifts when needed - this rota will be provided in advance

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

What will you be doing?

  • Providing on site cover for various operational roles such as Mobile Plant, Weighbridge, Traffic Controllers (Training will be provided)
  • Operating the Mobile Plant on site, completing daily checks while maintaining the equipment in line with the manufacturer's hand book, including cleaning and inspection.
  • Loading materials in and out of the site
  • Working at other sites within the South Downs contract area if required
  • Site housekeeping and opening and closing site procedures in line with Environmental Permit and Planning conditions

What are we looking for?

  • Previous operational / manual handling experience
  • Experience operating Mobile Plant: Teletruck, Loading Shovel, Wheeled Materials Handler - Training can be provided
  • Good IT skills
