Logistics Multi-Skilled Operative
Location: Lincoln Salary: £33,393 plus excellent benefits Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), working between 7am – 3.30pm, with mandatory overtime

As a Logistics Multi-Skilled Operative in our Secure Contracts team, you’ll deliver essential logistics and operational services that support the safe, secure movement of sensitive assets across the UK. Your work helps protect what matters, providing a trusted service for clients and the communities we serve.
You’ll take pride in delivering a precise, regulated, and trust-based service. Each journey and asset movement contributes to a safer future, and your role is critical in maintaining integrity, security, and quality our customers rely on.
Responsibilities
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Carry out nationwide collection and delivery of consignments, driving secure light commercial vehicles
- Follow strict security protocols for routes, site access, vehicle approaches, and incident procedures to safeguard sensitive assets
- Complete goods in/goods out tasks, stock control, internal stock movements, and quality assurance checks using our bespoke asset management database
- Conduct first-line vehicle maintenance and maintain communal areas within the working environment
- Perform warehousing operations, including the manual handling of items from small assets to outsized furniture
- Provide administrative support for vehicle use, asset movement, and related documentation
- Participate in the alarm call-out rota and undertake occasional overnight stays to meet operational needs

Requirements
This role is ideal if you have:
- A current, clean driving licence
- IT literacy and the ability to learn our internal asset management system
- Understanding of UK Domestic Driver Regulations (or the willingness to learn)
- A flexible approach to duties, hours, and meeting customer needs
- A commitment to working with discretion in a highly regulated, confidential environment
Critical Vetting and Checks
- HM Government SC Enhanced security clearance required, with annual re-vetting
- The post involves strict "need to know" access; extreme discretion must be maintained at all times
- An Occupational Health Questionnaire will be required to support your wellbeing
