Job Title: Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician
Location: Southampton
Salary: £45,885 - £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
About the Role
Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy bodyshop in Southampton, and they are currently looking for an experienced Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for a versatile technician with experience across multiple areas of vehicle accident repair, including MET, panel repair, stripping and refitting, and general bodyshop work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a competitive salary of up to £50,000, long-term stability and the opportunity to develop their career within a professional bodyshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of vehicle bodyshop repairs across multiple disciplines
- Complete MET work, including removal and refitting of mechanical and electrical components
- Carry out panel repairs and general bodywork
- Strip and refit vehicles in preparation for repairs
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair method
- Carry out welding and structural repairs where required
- Work closely with Panel, MET, and Paint Technicians throughout the repair process
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
- Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards
- Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician / MET Technician / Panel Technician
- Experience across multiple areas of vehicle accident repair
- Strong MET, stripping/refitting, and body repair skills
- Previous experience working within a busy bodyshop environment
- Good understanding of vehicle repair methods and processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant automotive/bodyshop qualifications are preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
