Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Multi Skilled Tradesman based in the Greater Liverpool Area. The person in this role will carry out general building maintenance, repairs, and minor refurbishment works across a variety of properties. Typical tasks may include carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating, tiling, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

The Multi Skilled Tradesman will inspect issues on-site, identify practical solutions, source materials as required, and complete jobs within agreed timeframes. The role also involves liaising with clients or site managers, keeping accurate records of work completed, and adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical skills across multiple trades (e.g., basic carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating, tiling, and minor plumbing or electrical work).
  • Experience in property maintenance, repair, or construction environments, ideally within residential or commercial settings.
  • Ability to diagnose issues on-site, plan work effectively, and follow technical instructions or drawings.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety practices, safe use of tools and equipment, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Greater Liverpool and Greater Manchester Area as required.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or NVQ/certifications in construction or building maintenance are highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a multi-skilled role and a reliable, solutions-focused work approach.
