About Camden

At London Borough of Camden, we’re building somewhere everyone can thrive. We want Camden to be a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and where our communities feel proud of the spaces they live, work and visit.

About the role

As an assistant Basketball Coach, you'll play a key role in inspiring children and young people to get active, develop their skills and build confidence through sport. Working as part of Camden's Sport and Physical Activity Team, you'll deliver fun, inclusive and engaging basketball coaching sessions that encourage young people to develop a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.

You'll help to plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions for children and young people, creating a safe, welcoming and positive environment where participants can develop their basketball skills, teamwork and confidence. You'll support a range of community sport programmes, maintain accurate participant records and work collaboratively with schools, community organisations and colleagues to provide excellent sporting opportunities across Camden. You'll also contribute to wider team activities, training and events across the service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
