Role Description
The Multi-Trade Engineer role at Growth Consultant LTD is a contract, on-site position based in London. In this role, you will carry out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple trades, such as basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general building repairs. You will inspect and troubleshoot systems, identify issues, and complete repairs to ensure safe, efficient operation of facilities.

Daily Responsibilities

- Responding to work orders
- Prioritizing tasks
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Keeping accurate records of work completed
You will collaborate with site managers, other engineers, and external contractors to plan works, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and minimize disruption for building users.
Qualifications
- Broad multi-trade maintenance experience (e.g., basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building fabric repairs).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for facilities and building systems, with the ability to work from technical drawings and manuals.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, safe working practices, and relevant industry standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently on-site with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and contractors, and to document work clearly and accurately.
- Relevant trade qualifications, certifications, or apprenticeship background; additional trade tickets (e.g., electrical or gas) are an advantage.
- Experience in commercial or residential property maintenance in London or similar urban environments is beneficial.
- Flexibility to respond to urgent issues, adapt to changing priorities, and support occasional out-of-hours work if required.
