Van and uniform provided, along with all power tools and plant required to carry out role.

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Multi-Trade Operative to join Magna's Customer Experience and Home Services team. This position offers a varied and fulfilling routine with excellent benefits. The role requires delivering high-quality work from initial report to completion, while ensuring compliance with current legislation and meeting our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of knowledge and skills across various trades, with expertise in bricklaying and general repairs including Roofing, Fencing, Plastering, Groundworks, Paving and Drainage.
This role requires a skilled operative who can work independently, demonstrate a positive attitude, and interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.
The successful candidate will participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota once every 10 – 12 weeks, for which you will receive an additional pay allowance.
What you need to be successful:
- Time served trade apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ level 2 or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience in associated trades.
- IT competent, as the role uses an iPad to receive, capture, record and complete all works accurately.
- Driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer’s homes across the Dorset area.
- This post is subject to a basic level DBS check. (Disclosure and Barring Service)
