πΌ About the Role
At Wates Property Services, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Trader to join our responsive maintenance team in Derbyshire, delivering essential repairs within social housing properties.
You'll be a key part of our front-line team, ensuring residents receive a high-quality, efficient service and that repairs are completed right first time. π
π§ What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out repairs and renewals across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling)
- Diagnosing faults and delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
- Working efficiently to meet productivity and service targets
- Completing job sheets and accurately reporting work carried out
- Liaising with supervisors and schedulers for follow-on works
- Providing excellent customer service to residents
- Working in line with health & safety and company standards at all times
π§ What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in social housing or responsive maintenance
- Ability to carry out multi-trade work to a high standard
- Strong problem-solving skills with a βright first timeβ approach
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
