About The Role

As a Plasterer within PCH, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving our housing stock, carrying out a wide range of plastering and associated multi-trade works across both void and occupied properties.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Preparing surfaces and carrying out all aspects of plastering to walls and ceilings
  • Mixing, laying and finishing multi-finish plaster to a high standard
  • Taking down and replacing ceilings, including reboarding and installing additional noggins where required
  • Dot and dab plaster boarding
  • Rendering works, including mortar finishes, Tyrolean and roughcast finishes
  • Pebble dashing and patch repairs
  • Wall and floor tiling, including full and patch repairs
  • Supporting with other maintenance activities including basic plumbing, decorating, carpentry repairs and minor masonry works
  • Participating in our out-of-hours service when required

Our Ideal Candidate For This Role Is Someone Who

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has completed a recognised apprenticeship in Plastering or a related wet trade
  • Holds an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
  • Has strong experience delivering high-quality plastering works
  • Takes pride in providing excellent customer service
  • Is self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
  • Is keen to continue developing their skills and career
