Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What will you be doing?

As a Multi-Trade Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring our 35,000 homes are places that people love to live in.

Working across both occupied and empty properties, you'll use your primary trade and wider multi-trade skills to diagnose and complete a broad range of repairs and special projects, including aids and adaptations.

Depending on your primary trade and wider skills, this could include:

  • Carpentry & joinery – fitting doors, kitchens and floorboards and fencing
  • Plumbing – fitting bathroom suites, tiling, changing taps, repairing toilets and drainage repairs
  • Plastering – plastering walls, ceilings and rooms
  • Decorating – painting walls, ceilings and woodwork

You'll take ownership of the work you're completing, aiming to resolve repairs right first time wherever possible and delivering a high standard of workmanship for our tenants.

What are we looking for?

You'll be an experienced tradesperson with a strong primary trade, complemented by practical skills across one or more additional trades.

You'll be confident diagnosing repairs and completing work to a high standard, while having a sound understanding of site safety and safe working practices.

As you'll be working in people's homes, how you work is just as important as the repair itself. You'll communicate clearly with our tenants, treat their homes with respect, work safely and tidily, and leave them confident that the job has been completed properly.
