Multi Trade Operative Voids
Job Location: Site based around Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Salisbury.
Standard Hours: Monday- Friday 39 hours plus on call 1 in every 7 weeks
This is an exciting opportunity for an Multi Trade Operative to join Novus Property Solutions, within our repairs and voids division, providing high-quality refurbishment of Void (empty) Social Housing properties to a livable standard.
This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience
We are seeking experienced, multi‑skilled trades person with the expertise to deliver full‑scope refurbishments on vacant social housing properties. Applicants should be prepared to cover multiple trades including, joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating, flooring, tiling and patch plastering.
The role involves refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms, flooring installation including cap and cove, minor tiling, patch plastering, door hanging, and the replacement of doors and windows. All work must be completed to a high standard, ensuring properties are ready for handover on completion.
- You will work daily from job tickets or a handheld device, using a live shared system to manage and update tasks
- Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively to meet company targets
- Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
- Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards

Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery or NVQ Level 2 in Property Maintenance.
- Plumbing, tiling, plastering skills, PASMA, IPAF knowledge or qualifications are advantageous
- Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
- This role will require a DBS check and a full UK driving licence is required.
