About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Multi Trader to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused reactive repairs and maintenance service across social housing properties in London. The postholder will work independently and as part of an in-house repairs team carrying out a wide range of multi-trade repairs to occupied and void properties, ensuring work is completed safely, right first time, and in line with organisational standards, statutory requirements, and customer expectations.
Your Accountabilities
- Complete reactive repairs and minor planned works to a high standard, achieving “right first time” outcomes
- Diagnose faults accurately and apply appropriate repair solutions across multiple trades
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. asbestos awareness, COSHH, manual handling)

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader or skilled trades operative in a repairs environment
- Strong practical skills across multiple trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, general maintenance)
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-diagnosis ability
- Basic IT skills for using mobile job management systems
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work
