AIM Utilities, founded in 2008, is an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) based in Dudley, West Midlands, delivering nationwide utility planning, project management, and installation services. The company provides individual services for gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications, as well as complete multi-utility solutions that include new connections and replacement works. AIM Utilities manages the full lifecycle of utility projects, from design through to commissioning and adoption. This approach helps clients complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Role Description
The Multi Utility Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Wombourne, responsible for coordinating multi-utility projects from initial planning through to completion. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Organizing and scheduling gas, water, electricity, and telecom works
- Liaising with internal teams, contractors, and clients
- Ensuring that designs and installations comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Monitoring project progress
- Updating documentation and records
- Managing variations
- Supporting timely commissioning and handover
- Assisting with resolving on-site issues
- Maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement in processes and customer service

Qualifications
- Experience coordinating utility or construction projects, preferably involving gas, water, electricity, or telecoms.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, including scheduling, prioritization, and time management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications related to utility installations.
- Effective communication skills for working with clients, contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to address site-based and logistical challenges promptly.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements in utility or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project tracking tools) and digital record-keeping.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation, permits, and project reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Wombourne and collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant experience in utilities, civil engineering, or construction project coordination; formal qualifications (e.g., in engineering, construction management, or a related field) are advantageous.
