About the Opportunity
We're excited to introduce a brand-new Multichannel Retail Manager role, offering a unique opportunity to help shape the future of retail at Compton Care.
This is an exciting position for an ambitious and commercially minded retail professional who thrives in both digital and store retail environments. You'll take the lead in developing and driving our online sales channels while supporting the performance of our wider retail estate.
Working across multiple locations, you'll play a key role in growing income, identifying new opportunities, enhancing the customer experience and helping us reach more supporters than ever before. Whether it's building online sales performance, leading teams to success, or stepping into stores to provide operational leadership, no two days will be the same.
Most importantly, your success will directly contribute to funding the essential care and support services that make a difference to thousands of people and families across our communities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day performance and growth of our online sales channels, including platforms such as eBay, Depop and Vinted.
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales, maximise income and grow our digital retail presence.
- Driving successful trading through effective product sourcing, listing optimisation, pricing strategies and stock management.
- Using data, insights and market trends to improve performance and inform decision-making.
- Leading, coaching and inspiring ecommerce teams across multiple locations to achieve ambitious targets.
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience across all online sales channels.
- Providing Store Manager cover across the retail estate when required, ensuring continuity, leadership and operational excellence.
- Supporting store teams to achieve strong commercial results while maintaining high standards of retail operation.
- Acting as a key link between traditional retail and ecommerce, bringing innovative ideas and a multichannel approach to income generation.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is passionate about retail, embraces change and is excited by the opportunity to help develop a growing multichannel operation.
You'll be a proactive and adaptable leader with strong commercial awareness, capable of balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.

You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing online selling platforms such as eBay, Depop, Vinted or similar marketplaces.
- Retail, ecommerce or multichannel trading experience.
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams to achieve results.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to analyse sales data to identify opportunities and drive performance.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
