About the Role

We’re looking for a **passionate and detail-driven Engineer to ensure that MEWPs, HIABs, Cranes, FLTs, and other lifting gear meet the highest standards under LOLER & PUWER regulations. You’ll be the trusted expert delivering peace of mind to high-profile clients across diverse sectors.

  • Competitive salary
  • £40,000 training investment
  • £5,000/year car allowance or Company Car
  • £2,500 retention fee (paid at year-end)

Qualifications & Skills

As a globally trusted inspection provider, Bureau Veritas holds multiple accreditations including UKAS accreditation, SAFed membership, and compliance with SAFed Standard SS01. Candidate requirements for Mechanical Inspection roles:

  • Minimum:
    • NVQ Level 4
    • HNC or HND in mechanical engineering, or equivalent
    • Notes: LEEA qualifications alone are not sufficient but are a preference alongside a relevant mechanically biased engineering qualification
  • Minimum 3–5 years post-qualification experience working with equipment-specific disciplines
  • Current Clean UK driving license
