Start Date: From Jan 2025
Translator (Japanese – FIGS) - What You'll Be Doing
- Translating video game-related materials from Japanese to FIGS.
- Proofreading translations to ensure accuracy and localisation quality.
- Collaborating with in-house professionals and project coordinators.
- Translating or proofreading from English as required.
- Adapting content to align with local culture and preferences.
- Managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Translator (Japanese – FIGS) - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience in translation/localisation, especially in the gaming industry.
- Native-level proficiency in FIGS languages with cultural expertise.
- Ability to use technical translation tools and adapt to new software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Professional experience in translating/proofreading video games from Japanese to FIGS (French, Italian, German, Spanish).
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
