Reports to: Marketing Director
Earth Cubs is looking for a hands-on creative who can move fluidly between marketing and product, turning our characters, stories, and sustainability mission into scroll-stopping content. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling and product experience: you'll be as comfortable editing a Reel for Instagram as you are helping shape how Frankie Fox, Wilfred Walrus, and the rest of the Earth Cubs crew show up across our app and video content.
You'll be a key creative voice for a growing children's sustainability and nature education brand reaching kids across the app, website, YouTube and social channels.
Social & Content Creation
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) featuring Earth Cubs characters, campaigns, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Develop scroll-stopping concepts and hooks tailored to a family and educator audience
- Ensure the visual quality and consistency of content across social channels, and YouTube
- Repurpose long-form content (show clips, app features, event footage) into platform-native social assets
- Support campaign content for brand partnerships
- Support reactive and trend-led content with quick-turnaround assets
- Create video and static content for ads across all platforms
Marketing Content Examples
Static & Carousel Posts
- Character "did you know" fact cards (e.g. Wilfred the Walrus explaining ocean plastic, styled as a single-frame Instagram tile)
- Quote card carousels pulling on teacher or parent testimonials
- Seasonal/topical static posts (Earth Day, back-to-school, National Tree Week) featuring a character in a relevant scene

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Partner-Based Marketing Assets
- Co-branded static or carousel posts for partners like Frank Water or National Grid, pairing an Earth Cubs character featuring impact stats or joint marketing campaigns
- Short-form video cutdowns of a partner activation (e.g. an in-person event) turned into a 15-30 second recap Reel
- Creating longer reels pulling together lots of videos from a partner activation such as a week long residential
- Competition/giveaway announcement assets for partner campaigns, including launch post, reminder post, and winner announcement
- "How to enter" explainer Reel or Story sequence for partner competitions
- Behind the scenes as we create the TV Show
App Demos Woven Into UGC-Style Content
- Screen-recorded app walkthroughs re-cut to feel native to TikTok/Reels (hands on phone, character voiceover, quick cuts) rather than a polished product demo
- "Day in the life of an Earth Cub" style content where a feature of the app (e.g. a game, a badge, a video) is shown as if a child/parent is discovering it naturally
- Before/after or reaction-style UGC (parent or kid reacting to a feature, a new episode, a badge unlock) using real footage
