Multimedia Designer, Remote UK, £Competitive

The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating dynamic, engaging content across various digital formats, including photography, motion graphics, video, static graphics, and interactive media. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the role involves designing assets for marketing campaigns and internal and external communications across multiple automotive brands. The Multimedia Designer will work with the digital, content, and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life and ensure consistency across all visual materials.

This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a broad skill set to design for multiple platforms, including social media, web, and email.

Role Accountabilities

Post-Production

  • Plan shoot logistics, create shot lists and storyboards.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers to develop scripts and creative concepts.

Video Production & Editing

  • Set up cameras, lighting, and audio to capture quality photography and video.
  • Cut and sequence raw footage, colour grade, mix audio and add motion graphics or special effects.

Brand Consistency & Collaboration

  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains visual consistency across multiple brands.
  • Work closely with the marketing, and digital content teams to align creative efforts with campaign objectives.

Internal Design Support

  • Support the creation of internal communications, including presentations, corporate videos, and event materials.
  • Assist in developing visual content for internal marketing initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and multimedia technology.
  • Propose and implement creative new ideas to enhance campaigns and improve user experience.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong photography, video editing, audio production, and motion graphic skills
  • Creative visual storytelling skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and time management
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong graphic design foundation

Experience

  • Experience in video production or multimedia design in a similar role, ideally within digital marketing or the automotive industry
  • Experience with social media video production and creating content for multiple platforms
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and video pre & post-production for various platforms
