Insight Global is looking for a Multimedia Onsite Support Specialist to join a large financial institution in Birmingham for a 6 month ongoing contract.
The role will be a hybrid role in providing traditional hardware and software desk-side technical support as well as provide support in remote and on-site events. The role will be a providing traditional hardware and software desk-side technical support as well as provide AV support in remote and on-site events. The candidate will responsible for set up of live events as well as ensuring the audio and visual is properly working throughout the office space. These issues are all reactive and can range from network troubleshooting, equipment set up/replacement, accessibility issues and zoom troubleshooting. These events will occur on an ad hoc basis and the chosen candidate should expect to occasionally work over-time to assist with this. Should there be further escalations necessary, the candidate will rely on their London team to assist with these escalated tasks (that said, training will also be provided to ensure a high level of execution is met on a day to day basis). Moreover, the candidate will also be involved in conversing with stakeholders of varying levels and as such the ability to set expectations and resolve issues on a timely manner is critical. Strong written and verbal communication is also important for that reason.

Qualifications:
- Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues i.e. basic network troubleshooting, Zoom troubleshooting, setting up equipment such as monitors, accessibility issues etc.
- Hands-on experience dealing with 20-30 tickets a day
- Proficiency in using Windows/Linux/Apple operating systems, Cisco Telephony, Zoom, Teams etc.
- Experience working with multimedia technology, specifically Logitech, Rallybar, QSC, Neatboard.
- Experience providing support on a multimedia AV level for events
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
