About FuturePro Logistics Group

FuturePro Logistics Group is an established and ambitious e-commerce logistics provider specialising in fulfilment, warehousing and outsourced supply-chain operations.

FuturePro Global Forwarding Ltd is a new addition to the group, established in response to growing customer demand for international freight forwarding. We are now looking for an experienced and organised Multimodal Freight Forwarding Operator to support the growth of our Global Forwarding division.

Role Overview

You will manage import and export shipments across air, road and ocean, from quotation and booking through to delivery and final documentation. You will work closely with customers, carriers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, customs agents, warehouses and overseas partners to provide efficient and cost-effective transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build competitive freight quotations based on customer requirements, lead times and cost.
  • Obtain and negotiate rates with air, road and ocean service providers.
  • Arrange bookings, collections, deliveries and multimodal transfers.
  • Manage shipments from booking through to final delivery.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide proactive shipment updates.
  • Prepare and check documentation including CMRs, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial invoices and packing lists.
  • Coordinate customs clearance and aviation security instructions where required.
  • Track shipments and proactively manage delays, disruptions and exceptions.
  • Resolve operational issues, claims, damages, shortages and delivery discrepancies.
  • Monitor freight costs, demurrage, detention and other operational charges.
  • Liaise with accounts regarding invoicing and queries.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal/ERP systems.
  • Support continuous improvement to improve efficiency, accuracy and customer service.

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a multimodal freight forwarding environment.
  • Experience handling import/export shipments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of freight forwarding documentation, including CMR, B/L and AWB.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade requirements.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience across air, road and ocean freight.
  • Previous experience using MultiFreight or similar freight forwarding software.
  • Customs clearance experience.
  • Experience obtaining freight rates and preparing quotations.
  • Experience with freight forwarding/ERP systems.
