Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Multimodal Transport Operator in Grangemouth!

Responsibilities

As a Multimodal Transport Operator, you will play an integral part to the freight forwarding and logistics processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with logistics teams, customers and suppliers
  • Completing relevant paperwork and documentation
  • Monitoring and addressing delays/issues
  • Completing all work to relevant requirements set out by SOPs, compliance procedures and customer expectations
  • General administration and office duties

The Ideal Multimodal Transport Operator Will Have

  • Previous experience in a freight forwarding/transport administration role, and knowledge of customs compliance
  • Previous experience using CargoWise
  • Strong IT and administration skills
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
  • An organised nature with the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to work well in a team or as an individual
