Job Description
Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Multinational Programme Assistant in our UK Multinational Business Unit.
The Multinational Programme Assistant supports the administration, servicing, and coordination of Multinational policies across Sompo’s owned Issuing Offices and external Network Partners. The role will initially focus on supporting internal stakeholders across the business, with opportunities to broaden exposure to brokers and Network Partners as experience and confidence grow. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their knowledge of Multinational insurance programmes and gain exposure to a wide range of insurance operations and client servicing activity.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the team with general administrative tasks, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of submissions, policy documentation, and related records, ensuring information is accurate and complete.
- Provide support on queries and Stakeholders interaction as experience develops, escalating more complex matters to senior team members where appropriate.
- Help monitor key activity and timelines to support timely policy issuance, premium processing, and other administrative requirements.
- Follow established Multinational processes, procedures, controls, and service standards, with support from more experienced colleagues where needed.
- Process bookings, records maintenance, and related documentation within timescales.

What you’ll bring:
- Some experience in commercial insurance, insurance operations, client servicing, policy administration, or a related environment.
- An interest in developing knowledge of Multinational insurance and related processes.
- A client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Good organisational skills, work to deadlines, and manage competing priorities with guidance where needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across diverse backgrounds, cultures, and geographies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Progress toward, or interest in pursuing, CII qualifications would be beneficial.
- Additional language skills would be an advantage.
