WE’RE HIRING – Poole, Dorset
Due to the award of a significant new contract, Technical Lift Services Ltd is expanding its engineering and management team.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Service Manager
We are looking for an experienced lift professional to manage our service and maintenance operations.
The role will include:
- Managing and supporting our service engineering team
- Planning routine maintenance and engineer workloads
- Monitoring service standards, call-outs and outstanding defects
- Providing technical support to engineers and clients
- Reviewing service reports and identifying recurring issues
- Ensuring contractual requirements and response targets are achieved
- Maintaining strong communication with customers and the wider management team
Applicants must have relevant lift-industry experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to work under their own initiative.
Repairs Manager
We are seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to oversee lift repairs, technical works and minor modernisation projects.
The role will include:
- Managing repair enquiries from initial survey through to completion
- Reviewing technical reports and preparing repair recommendations
- Planning labour, materials and subcontract resources
- Coordinating works with engineers, suppliers and clients
- Monitoring project costs, progress and quality
- Providing technical guidance to the engineering team
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard

Applicants should have strong technical knowledge of lift systems and be capable of managing several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Lift Technician – Multi-Role
We are also recruiting an experienced Lift Technician to undertake a varied role across our service, repair, fault-finding and technical operations.
The role may include:
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis
- Electrical and mechanical repairs
- Testing and commissioning
- Technical surveys and investigations
- Minor modernisation works
- Supporting other engineers on complex faults and projects
The successful applicant must be confident working independently, capable of diagnosing faults logically and committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

These positions have been created following the award of a new contract and form part of the continued growth of the business.
