About the Role

The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Service at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust supports people living with MS across the local area, offering practical, clinical and emotional support throughout their journey. Our MS Team work closely with Neurology, Rehabilitation, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive joined-up, high-quality care.

It's an exciting time to join us. MS treatments are rapidly evolving, and our service is expanding to reflect these advances. We are looking to expand the service in response to increasing demand, while also developing our capacity to support the introduction and delivery of new therapeutic options.

We are looking for a committed and motivated Band 7 Nurse to join our friendly MS team. Significant post-registration experience and knowledge of MS and Neuroscience are essential, along with a willingness to learn and a positive, 'can-do' attitude. This role within a multi-professional environment will challenge you to innovate in your field, push forward, and act as a role model for high standards of care through clinical practice.

Independent prescribing is highly desirable for this role but is not essential, and candidates without a prescribing qualification are equally encouraged to apply.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
