Multiskilled Engineer
An educational facility is currently seeking a Multiskilled Engineer to join their estate department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, maintaining and supporting the building services that keep the campus safe, compliant, and fully operational.
£36,000 - £37,400 per annum + excellent benefits + On Cal. 37 hours per week.
Job Duties
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and ventilation systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using technical expertise
- Use Planon CAFM system and Building Management Systems to record and monitor work
- Interpret building drawings and understand basic BMS/control systems
- Collaborate with colleagues and assist contractors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
- Support small projects and installations

Job Requirements
- Recognised qualifications or strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Joinery, or related trades
- Experience in facilities management or maintenance environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with CAFM systems and BMS - Desirable
- Experience supervising contractors or supporting projects - Desirable
- Experience working in educational, healthcare, or large-site environments - Desirable

Job Offer
- Permanent
- £36,000 - £37,400 per annum
- 37 hours per week - Monday - Friday
- On-call rota for out-of-hours support
