About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Mirfield, you'll play a key role in keeping machinery running smoothly within a busy industrial and manufacturing environment. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing and fixing electrical issues.

Duties

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Performing routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Collaborating with the team to minimise downtime and improve performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and any required updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
  • Providing timely updates and feedback to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

Profile

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
