Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The role of Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer offers A GBP 53K and excellent overall earning potential with regular overtime and a good shift pattern working 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off, very competitive holiday and 10 pension. This will suit an engineer who can effectively fault find electrically and mechanically who likes working shifts with regular weekends off and long off:shift periods for holidays and breaks.

Job Outline

Predominantly mechanical maintenance required working within a busy manufacturing environment, but you will need to fault find electrically to include interrogation panels and resetting sensors, you will be responsible for conducting PPM on machines, scheduling repairs and supporting the installation of machines and senior engineers with projects to improve machines.

As a Maintenance Engineer, You Will Be Required To

  • Plan and carry out routine scheduled and preventative maintenance work.
  • Provide technical support to production staff.
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
  • Installation of electrical and mechanical machinery.
  • Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work.

The Maintenance Engineer should have the following skills or experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience within a manufacturing business.
  • Experience with both Mechanical Maintenance Engineering.
  • A recognised certificate/qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with knowledge of Maintenance Engineering that would like to develop their experience within a manufacturing company.

You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi:skilled engineer, multi:skilled maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, technician, mechanical fitter, electrical or shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer or service engineer.

Shift

  • Panama (12 hour shifts with every other weekend off) 42 Hours/ week.
