Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: John Street, Brighton, BN88
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (45 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary Assignment – 16 March 2026 to 9 May 2026
Overtime: Paid at x1.5 and x2 where applicable
A temporary opportunity has arisen for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to support general building maintenance operations at a major corporate site in Brighton. This role will suit an experienced engineer with a broad background in facilities or building services maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe, functional, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general building maintenance and repair tasks across the site
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance works where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of works completed and report any issues to site management
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working as a Multiskilled or Building Maintenance Engineer
- Experience in general facilities or building services maintenance
- Ability to carry out basic electrical, mechanical, and fabric repairs
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable with good communication skills

Assignment Details
- Temporary contract providing additional engineering support
- Immediate start available from 16 March 2026
- Based at a major corporate office site in Brighton
- Overtime opportunities available depending on operational requirements
