Position
Reporting directly into the Contract Manager, the Multiskilled Operative is responsible for performing various reactive and preventative, trade-related duties to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed its contractual obligations with its clients across multiple estates of varying ages and building types. - Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible, be prepared to and provide scoping quotes for permanent repairs where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Carry out all planned building / fabric maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed, the clients CAFM system.
- Work closely with site service managers to ensure that the site is maintained and kept in good decorative order internally and externally - provide advice guidance on routine fabric repairs to support a timely completion.
- Ensure you work within the confines of current Health and Safety legislation and adhere to site protocols and any work-related safety measures as updated during your induction onto site.
- Be commercially aware and be responsible for ordering required materials from suppliers in an efficient manner, following the company's purchasing procedures.
