Role Description
The Multitrader role is a full-time, on-site position based in London, responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day activities include diagnosing issues, performing routine and reactive repairs (such as basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work), and ensuring that all jobs are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

The Multitrader will use digital tools and PropTech platforms to receive work orders, update job statuses, record materials used, and communicate with the central operations team. The role involves liaising with clients and occupants in a professional manner, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and adhering to health and safety regulations and company procedures.

The Multitrader may also support property inspections, identify preventative maintenance needs, and contribute ideas to improve service efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills across multiple trades, such as basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, and minor electrical repairs.
- Proficiency in using digital work-order systems, mobile apps, or PropTech platforms to manage tasks and report maintenance activities.
- Solid problem-solving abilities, including fault-finding, prioritizing repairs, and working independently to complete jobs efficiently.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, occupants, and colleagues in a professional, respectful manner.
- Commitment to health and safety best practices, including safe use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
- Previous experience in a multitrade or property maintenance role, preferably within residential or commercial building environments.
- Relevant trade certifications or vocational qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent in a building trade) are beneficial.
- Valid right to work in the UK and readiness to work on-site in London, with flexibility to travel between properties as required.
