Role Description
The Multitrader will carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and small-scale refurbishment tasks across residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include completing general building works to a high standard, following job specifications and health and safety requirements. The role involves attending scheduled and responsive repairs, diagnosing issues on site, sourcing appropriate materials, and providing clear updates to supervisors, planners, and clients. The maintenance operative will maintain accurate records of work completed, ensure properties are left clean and safe, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom, requiring travel to various client locations within the company’s operating area.

Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in any of the core trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and plastering, etc.
- Experience in general property maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently, with good problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices on site.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues.
- Good time management and organizational skills to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
- Full UK manual driving licence and willingness to travel between sites as required.
- Right to work is required
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in construction or property services; experience in social housing or similar environments is an advantage.

Desirable
- Experience working in occupied residential properties.
- Previous experience within social housing repairs and maintenance.
- Competence across more than one trade, particularly carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, tiling, flooring, roofing, brickwork, or kitchen and bathroom fitting.
