Arts and Projects Officer

Sandwell Museum Service is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, creative Arts and Projects Officer to lead on community engagement through arts and heritage.

The post holder will deliver a high standard of customer care and public service to visitors of all ages and cultural backgrounds, nurture partnerships with other organisations, community groups and practitioners to add capacity and innovation to service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage community engagement projects and programs working with partners
  • Look for external funding opportunities and complete grant applications
  • Join the busy creative team delivering exciting projects, events, and activities to visitors, users, and the local community
  • Work behind the scenes as a member of the museums’ management team to develop the service
