A very exciting opportunity has arisen within the Electric Group for an Assistant in the Music Department.

This role will support the day-to-day administration of the music department across live shows, club shows, venue hire events, internal promotions, and venue marketing activity, and will provide an amazing entry-level experience for someone wanting to learn the live music industry.

This role is suited to an organized, detail-focused person with a strong interest in live music, events, and venue operations and with an interest in working in a fast-moving and demanding environment.

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling event information.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines at once.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate under pressure.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, shared documents, calendars, and web-based systems.
  • A proactive, reliable, and flexible attitude. This is not a 9-5 role.
  • An interest in live music, club shows, venues, events, and the wider music industry.
  • Ability to work professionally with internal teams, promoters, agents, and suppliers.

Experience

Previous experience in live music, events, administration, marketing, or customer-facing venue work would be helpful but is not essential. Training will be provided for internal systems, contract processes, website updates, and departmental procedures.

This is an opportunity to be part of an operation of a growing live music and club venue group, working across a varied programme of shows and supporting the delivery of memorable events across the UK.
