Location: Remote Job Type: Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Salary: £22,000 to £26,000 per annum, depending on age and experience

At Decent Music PR, we provide marketing and promotional solutions designed to help emerging and established artists grow and thrive. We work closely with artists to understand their goals, develop tailored strategies, and deliver campaigns that support their long-term growth.
The Role
We're currently looking for a Music Industry Outreach & Research Assistant to join the team and help us grow our network, identify new opportunities and keep our outreach moving.
This is an entry-level role with genuine opportunities to develop into A&R, artist discovery and wider music industry responsibilities as DECENT grows.
It's a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who has a genuine interest in music, understands the industry and wants hands-on experience inside a growing music company.

What You'll Be Doing
- Researching emerging artists and the wider music industry
- Finding artists, managers, labels, producers and other relevant contacts
- Building targeted outreach lists
- Carrying out email outreach and follow-ups
- Managing and updating our CRM
- Re-engaging relevant existing contacts
- Keeping databases accurate and organised
- Supporting lead generation and new business outreach
- Identifying potential A&R opportunities
- Supporting the wider team with research and administration
We're looking for someone who is:
- A music graduate or has a strong understanding of the music industry
- Genuinely passionate about music
- Naturally curious about artists and the people behind them
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Fast and efficient with data
- Confident researching online
- Comfortable communicating professionally by email
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases and CRM systems
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Good at spotting opportunities
- Hungry to learn and develop within the music industry

Experience in any of the following would be a bonus:
- CRM systems
- Excel or Google Sheets
- Lead generation or email marketing
- Social media and content
- Canva or basic content creation
- Knowledge of UK labels, managers, producers and artists
