Job Description
A Nigerian Afrobeats artist based in Jos is seeking a junior music producer for a full-time remote contract. The role involves collaborating closely with a vocalist and songwriter to develop, arrange, and produce high-quality Afrobeats tracks. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging producer passionate about contemporary African music and eager to contribute creatively to the evolving Afrobeats scene.
Deliverables
- Collaborate with the artist to produce original Afrobeats tracks from concept to final mix
- Arrange, program, and edit instrumentals and vocals to industry standards
- Provide creative input on song structure, melody, and rhythm
- Deliver polished, radio-ready masters within agreed timelines
- Communicate regularly with the artist to incorporate feedback and revisions
- Ensure all deliverables meet professional audio quality standards

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience producing Afrobeats or related genres
- Proficiency with DAWs such as FL Studio, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live
- Strong understanding of Afrobeats rhythms, instrumentation, and vocal production
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable internet connection and access to professional production equipment
- Availability for a full-time contract commitment
