The Role
At Lime Tree Music, we don’t just send press releases; we tell artists' stories and build connections across the global Country and Americana music community. Active across the UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, we are continuing to expand our team due to steady agency growth.
We are looking for a UK-based, fluent German-speaking Music Publicist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis (37.5 hours/week).
In this role, you will lead PR campaigns across the GSA/DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) while working closely with our UK team. While prior music PR experience is preferred, we are completely open to training the right bilingual candidate who brings strong German language skills, broad PR or communications experience, and a passion for the music industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside our UK team, you will drive artist narratives across German-speaking media landscapes:
- Execute European PR Campaigns: Develop and execute creative online and print PR campaigns primarily targeting media across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Radio Servicing: Service new music to German, Austrian and Swiss radio stations to maximise airplay and build footprint.
- Localisation & Translation: Translate, adapt, and pitch press releases, artist biographies, and promotional assets from English into fluent, media-ready German.
- Media & Industry Relations: Build and maintain relationships with European journalists, broadcast media, and influencers to secure top-tier coverage.
- Events & Travel: Attend regular team days in London, and travel to other European cities when required to manage media days, live events, and festival promo opportunities for artists.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain up-to-date media contact databases and compile polished monthly client reports.

Experience and Skills
- Location & Language: UK-based (remote) but preferably commutable to London, with native or fluent written and verbal German and English (Essential).
- PR Experience: Experience working in a music or entertainment PR role (label or agency setting) is preferred. Broad PR, communications, media, or journalism experience paired with a strong passion for music will also be considered, with full training provided.
- Media Insight: A strong understanding of the role of PR in the music industry, with an eye for editorial targets, national outlets, and broadcast media in German-speaking territories.
- Organisation: Excellent planning, multitasking, and deadline management skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with Google Workspace, AI tools like Google Gemini, and PR platforms like Muck Rack and Cision.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £28,000 GBP per annum (Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week)
- Position Type: Permanent
- Leave: 28 days’ paid holiday per year (including UK bank holidays)
