Music Specialist - Choir Support
š Location: Harrow, London
š· Salary: Ā£28.50 per hour
š Hours: 3.5hrs per week (Friday Afternoons)

The Role:
- Lead engaging singing and musical sessions for children.
- Confidently lead choirs and group rehearsals.
- Preparing children for performances, concerts and school events

Youāll have the opportunity to:
- Develop a love of music and singing in primary aged children.
- Lead engaging, creative and fun music sessions.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Support children with social interactions and encourage positive behaviour.
- Set up and tidy activity areas and equipment before and after sessions.
- Maintain accurate registers, report concerns and follow safeguarding procedures.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and the wider LSC team.
- Support the planning and delivery of themed sessions when required.

What Weāre Looking For:
Weāre looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a passion for supporting childrenās development.
Essential
- Previous experience working with children in a choir/musical setting.
- Access to a car or the ability to travel to the location
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one
