What's the role about?
Mystery Shopper
Retail Active, a Customer Experience Measurement Agency, are looking to recruit Mystery Shoppers (self-employed) to help us deliver insight for our clients.
Our clients are the best in their sector and want to learn how well their sales and service staff are representing their business.
We are looking for enthusiastic people with a keen eye for detail to join our mystery shopping team. You will need to be conscientious, articulate, and able to recognise great service. There's no hidden fees; there's no catch.
By signing up with us, you can pick up as much (or as little) work as you like based on your availability. All we ask is that you complete a full online report detailing your experience in store for us to share with our clients. Pay varies between clients but of course, the more work you do the more you can earn!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
