The Role
Giant Group is developing n8n as a strategic automation and integration platform across the business. We're looking for an experienced n8n Engineer to accelerate delivery of production automation, system integrations and AI-augmented workflows across operational and development functions. This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll work directly with the UK-based CTO and teams across Giant Group to design, build, test, deploy and support reliable n8n workflows that reduce manual effort, connect key platforms and introduce AI-assisted processing where it creates measurable value. We're looking for a delivery-focused engineer who can work independently, communicate clearly across locations and time zones, and produce secure, maintainable working solutions rather than specifications alone.
Key Delivery Areas
-
Workflow Engineering
- Design, build, test and deploy production-grade n8n workflows across Giant Group's key operational areas
- Integrate platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Zendesk, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365 and SendGrid
- Engineer workflows with robust validation, exception handling, retries, idempotency where appropriate, logging, monitoring and alerting
- Use modular, reusable workflow patterns and consistent naming/versioning conventions
- Document workflows, dependencies, credentials/configuration requirements and support procedures so internal teams can maintain them
-
AI-Augmented Process Automation
- Implement LLM-augmented workflow steps using approved AI services and APIs, including Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI where authorised
- Build document parsing, classification, extraction, validation and routing workflows
- Integrate AI-assisted processing into operational processes such as allocations, onboarding and screening support
- Apply human review, confidence thresholds, deterministic rules and audit trails where the process or data sensitivity requires them
- Identify when conventional rules-based automation is more appropriate than an LLM-based approach

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
